The prime focus of this module is to develop understanding and capacity of how implementation strategies within the service delivery and support activities of the John Hopkins Hospital Value Chain are required to be developed taking into consideration what actions and likely organization\market reactions will arise as the organization’s Directional strategies matched with a combination of Adaptive, Market Entry, and/or Competitive strategies are introduced within the John Hopkins Hospital and the market.

Working Exercise Summary Analysis Instructions: Apply summary implementation analysis of using the Value Chain framework to identify critical actions that should be taken to effectively implement the Directional, Adaptive, Market Entry, and/or Competitive strategies . Identify actions to be taken within each of the Value Chain elements. Identify key areas of potential operational risk for John Hopkins Hospital. The working exercise summary analyses should reflect higher level cognitive processing (analysis, synthesis, and evaluation), which is essential for someone being prepared to serve in an operational capacity within the healthcare and related industry.
