Question

Ken used alcohol and benzodiazepines for over a year, developing a tolerance to the substances. If he suddenly stops taking the drugs, which of these will MOST likely apply to his body's response? He will feel calm and relaxed. His body's natural supply of GABA will be low for a time, producing symptoms of withdrawal. He would not have withdrawal symptoms. His body's natural supply of neurotransmitters will immediately resume now that a substance is not binding with the GABA receptors.
