Assignment:

Can you give positive feedback in one paragraph, on the following in regards to mitigating legal risk?

Several stakeholders share the responsibility to help mitigate legal risk. Such stakeholders include the legal team, management, employees, or even directors of a company. One example in which stakeholders can mitigate legal risk is to ensure that the organization appoints individuals in leadership roles who have integrity and are able and willing to identify issues, engage with others within the organization to address current and potential issues, and develop a risk mitigation strategy (Payne, 2022). This will require cooperation from each person in a particular department. However, the key to mitigating legal risk is to build strong communication between all stakeholders and HR.

A second example in which stakeholders can be instrumental in managing legal risk is by developing standards regarding ethical workplace conduct and providing training, resources, and a process to report issues (Meinert, 2014). Communication will also be a pivotal while working with HR along with employee feedback to determine if there are any gaps in training, lack of resources on an organization's intranet page, and consultation from the legal team to ensure that standards do not infringe on protected rights.
