Okay this question not copied I just need a help please help me for my coming up exam its a just practice question lets say You work for EvilCorp developing new poisons. You make a toxin that binds to a protein in the mitochondrial electron transport chain. If a person ingests the poison it is quickly absorbed into cells throughout the body. The poison alters the electron transport chain protein such that, when the protein receives an electron it remains stuck. The electron cannot be released to continue through the electron transport chain.

If you treat a cell with the toxin does the amount of ATP being made by that (now poisoned) cell decrease?

If you treat a cell with the toxin would you expect the amount of NAD+ in the (now poisoned) cell to decrease?
