Question

When using GIS software as an analysis tool, one of the most important decisions you will have to make is to define what your objective(s) is in developing an interpolation model. In other words, what information do you need the model to provide so that you can make a decision? For example, as we deal with COVID-19 and its spread, data reported by public health agencies is used in interpolation models to predict additional levels of spread due contact tracing, additional spread due to illegal gatherings, etc. Most likely, interpolation modeling was used in this analysis with several important criteria to drive decision making. This data may also be used to support how we are vaccinated. From your review of spatiotemporal data, provide some insight on how Geolocationing influences IOT. You can use examples such as connected cars, weather, energy, etc.
