CASE STUDY 1:
OP Consulting is a large, global consulting company headquartered in Davao City.
The firm specializes in offering expert consulting services in the fields of corporate finance, accounting, and management, both for short-term and long-term projects.
OP Consulting now has a workforce of more than 5,000 consultants who collaborate with and visit organizations located in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
These consultants have expertise in a certain field and may be immediately deployed to a physical location for a minimum duration of one week.
However, in several instances, it might take more than a whole year.
The consultants have the option to work remotely, with the possibility of occasional travel to the company's physical sites if required.
The team is a dedicated corporate sales group inside a prominent family hotel chain.
The main responsibility is to create comprehensive program proposals for major organizations that need customized pricing and incentive programs in order to maintain their loyalty to the firm.
In this situation, your team must design a tailored package program proposal targeting three distinct groups.
The first category consists of a frequent traveler who will stay at your hotel for a duration of three to four nights each month after client meetings.
The second individual is a transient visitor who will be residing on the client's premises for a period of three to six months and requires lodging arrangements.
The third travel option is characterized by its extended duration, extending beyond six months, during which the individual is stationed at the client's premises while maintaining their affiliation with our network.
The proposal should include a concise delineation of discounts, various categories of accommodations, and explicit incentives that your chain will provide to the firm and its consultants. The proposal will be submitted to the board of directors (judges) of OP Consulting at their next scheduled meeting.
1. The majority of consultants often spend 90 to 180 days a year away from their place of residence.
2. Explain how your solution would ensure compliance with OP requirements.
3. Gain the ability to analyze and understand the particular obstacles that sales and marketing teams encounter while developing global sales and marketing initiatives.
Provide at least 3-5 general recommendations that may be applied in the hospitality and tourism organization.
