The Learning Outcomes addressed in this assessment are:

• be able to apply knowledge of contemporary thinking in employability skills and career planning to enhance personal skills applicable to the work environment;
• be able to demonstrate personal development across a range of work preparation skills; and
• be able to evaluate personal development across a range of professional practice skills.

Task-

Most of you will have worked or are working part time or for holiday breaks. If you haven't you may have been involved in a sporting team or in volunteer work. You will all have some experience in a "workplace".

You need to choose three of the modules and explore these in relation to your workplace. For example you may choose to look at Business Meetings, Performance Metrics and Team leadership.

Consider some of the following questions that will help you think about the modules in relation to a workplace with which you are familiar.

What actually happens? Describe what happens in the business in relation to the module. E.g. Is there performance management and how does the business manage it? Is it taken seriously? Are there good measures in place? How do the staffs feel about it? What you feel about it?

Examine what happens by referring to the theory and literature including what is provided by the Modules but also some of your own research.

What do you think should happen? How should the business manage this area? Write your recommendations and support them with theory.

You should do this for the three chosen modules.
