In this TedTalk, Manchanda describes the story of one of his patients and how her healthcare issues were actually coming from her home. Part of her treatment plan was to actually call in a Community Health Worker to help aide her in getting her landlord to address the issues in her rental. Therefore, in this case, one of the Social Determinants of Health- Neighborhood and Built Environment- was affecting the patient.
