Assignment:

There seem to be a lot of people that abuse the usage of marijuana in an unhealthy matter. I believe a majority of people who use marijuana have a difficult time controlling their use of the drug and start developing a substance disorder. This made me think about what was is the purpose of marijuana. Can it be used to solve problems instead of creating them? Specifically, my question is: Does Marijuana help ease symptoms of people with mental illnesses like schizophrenia, anxiety, depression, bipolar, and even substance use disorders or does marijuana cause these illnesses?
