Assignment:

As nurses, we are constantly faced with difficult situations that can take a toll on our mental health and emotional well-being. Developing a personal resilience plan can help us bounce back from these challenges, stay motivated, and maintain our well-being. Consider a time when you experienced something challenging in your nursing career or personal life. What did you have in place or what did you develop in that season to overcome the challenge?

You may use the following prompts to guide your reflection:

  • What strategies did you have or implement?
  • What support networks did you rely on?
  • What professional support was helpful or would have been helpful?
  • Do you still consider these strategies or practices a part of your resilience plan?
