Assignment:

The Objective of this project is to create a Marketing Plan for developing a new product byan existing company or a new company.

  • Students can choose any company and any product for the marketing plan.
  • Through such a marketing plan, the company decides what to do to launch a new product or to promote the sales of the product.
  • The marketing plan report should have the following sections:
  • Executive summary- One page in length. It should provide an overview of the marketing plan, a brief summary of the main goals and recommendations of the plan for management review.
  • Current marketing situation- It explains the target market and the company's position in it, including information about the market, product performance, competition, and distribution. (Two pages)
  • SWOT analysis (One page in form of a four quadrant table)
  • Objectives- marketing objectives that the company would like to attain during the plan's term and discuss key issues that will affect their attainment. (one page)

Marketing strategy- (How the company achieves its objective). It should include, Target Segments, Positioning strategy, marketing mix and marketing budget. (three pages)
