Throughout these modules, we have been introduced to some new change models that can help clarify our focus during change (Bierema, 2020). As you compare these change models, one or two of the models made more clearly explain some of your initial reactions to the impending change that you knew you had to make. We discussed the three steps that are proposed by Lewin. We explored a more organization development focused model in the Lippitt, Watson and Westley model, Bridges provides an adaptation to Lewin with the managing transitions model. There was Beckhard that gave us a simple formulaic model regarding the factors that cumulatively must overcome resistance. Kotter presented his step by step model for leading change. There is another model that doesn't necessarily refer exactly to change but perhaps more of a mindset. Appreciate Inquiry is great in that it believes that the individual should try to leverage his naturally developed strengths to deal with new challenges presented in a change.

Are there any natural strengths that you possessed that allowed you to maintain the change once you initiated it?
