Part 1: Please read my introduction that way you have an idea of my stand in this paper, on how active learning is an important skill in my career in " Dental Medicine".
Introduccion.
Many skills are necessary for some careers, however, in addition to being skills, they are also considered responsibilities. Dental Medicine plays a crucial role in our society, it is responsible for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of people's oral diseases, it also helps to identify other types of diseases in our body since the mouth is the main conduit to our immune system. Communication between the patient and their dentist is critical, however, the skill that is most relevant in this career is "Active Listening", since the dental staff must be trained to listen to the dentist's instructions and capture non-verbal signals in the presence or absence of the patient. Listening and visualizing help greatly improve the communication and organizational skills of the entire dental team. Some people would say that "Complex Solving problems" is a more relevant skill in this career since it helps people make spontaneous decisions related to the patient's health, however, "Active Listening" uses both. Listening carefully to the patient creates a connection, and patients feel encouraged to share their concerns, reveal confidential information, and ask questions related to the process and results of their consultation. This helps dentists determine actions to take if something untimely happens. Active Learning is the most important skill implemented daily in this career, helping to follow instructions, avoid misunderstandings, and most importantly, feel connected to the patient.
Part 2: Develop your Skill Enhancement Proposal: Enter the conversation about how to improve the skill of your choice. Describe what researchers are saying about the development of that particular skill. Ask your interviewees in your DYL Prototyping Conversations about their suggestions for improving that skill. Use research and their feedback to come up with a plan to improve your own proficiency with that skill over the next few months. You might describe prototyping experiences or conversations as well as practical ways you can improve that particular skill. Your skill enhancement approach should be based on your primary research (DYL Prototype Conversations) and peer-reviewed, scholarly research. Review of Research o Summarize two different peer-reviewed, scholarly sources about how to improve upon the selected skill. (The Art of Summarizing) o Embed important quotations or paraphrasing from the two peer-reviewed, scholarly sources. (The Art of Quoting) o Respond to claims from each of the two peer-reviewed scholarly sources. (Three Ways to Respond) • Skill Enhancement Plan. o Embed important quotations or paraphrasing from the two peer-reviewed, scholarly sources. (The Art of Quoting) o Describe how you will increase your skill proficiency through behavior change and prototyping experiences. o Respond to claims from each of the two peer-reviewed scholarly sources.
