PART A: TEAM GOAL SETTING
TASK INSTRUCTIONS
Based on the email, complete the following tasks.
1. Prepare for team planning:
• review the email to identify the objectives of the Winter Campaign and the marketing activities involved in implementing the campaign
• review the Sales and MarketingPosition Descriptions to familiarise yourself with the job roles of each of your team members
• develop a Team Plan using the template provided. Your plan must document the organisational objectives, along with team member responsibilities for specific activities related to the Winter Campaign.
2. Facilitate a team meeting (your assessor will arrange for people to role-play team members):
The objective of this meeting is to assist your team members in developing individual work goals, plans and activities that align with their job role responsibilities and the organisations' objectives for the Winter Campaign
This will involve you reviewing the Team Plan, including the organisational objectives for the Winter Campaign, and the specific marketing tasks involved.
You will need to provide each team member with a copy of the Team Member Work Plan and support and guide the team members to each develop their individual Team Member Work Plan. This should include:
• identifying individual goals that are specific and measurable
• identifying specific tasks that each team member needs to complete. Task allocation may be ‘tweaked' during the meeting based on discussions (as long as any changes to the plan meet the organisational objectives and position descriptions).
• ensuring that individual due dates align with the timeframes of the Winter Campaign as provided in the email from Gavin Stead.
Team members may complete their Team Member Work Plan during the meeting, or you may ask the team members to submit their plan to you after the meeting. Be mindful that the team members will complete these forms based upon the information you provide during this meeting. You can choose to distribute the Team Plan and Position Descriptions to assist team members in developing their individual plans.
3. Review the Team Member Work Plans submitted by your team members.
When reviewing team member plans, ensure that the plans submitted align with CBSA's objectives for the campaign, and with the relevant position description
Using the email template provided, respond to each team member with feedback regarding the plan they have submitted.
4. Submit the following to your Assessor:
