The following questions are to be completed by your group and submitted via BrightSpace by the deadline.
1. You have successfully completed the initiation processes of your MGT4104 Project Management Fundamentals group project and should now be conducting your planning processes. Define the scope of your project by creating a project scope statement that reflects your approved project topic selection. Ensure that your project scope statement includes the following: product scope description, deliverables, and project exclusions.
2. In your own words, what is a Work Breakdown Structure and why is it important to develop one as a project manager?
3. Develop a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) that reflects 100% of the scope of work that your team needs to complete for the group project. Ensure that your WBS reflects both the project and the product scope, and contains at least three (3) levels of decomposition. Your WBS can either be in a graphical or list format.
4. Develop a project schedule in MS Project from your WBS (from question #3) by defining the project activities, sequencing the activities, and estimating activity durations. Cut and paste your project schedule into this document. Ensure that I can read all of the activities and see the durations and Gantt chart.
5. Describe the critical path of your project and explain why it is important for you to know what your critical path is.
