You have been employed by a large construction company who have been commissioned to develop the plot at Cromwell Court, St Martin Way in Chester into a modern boutique hotel.

The company has met with the client who is open to design ideas and would welcome designs for refurbishment & extension or demolition and new build. The client has provided the original CAD file and associated PDF drawings for the redline boundary plus the floor plans and elevations of the current building.

You are tasked with the responsibility of designing and preparing the construction information package. This will be presented to the design team before going to the client for review. The package of information required should include the following:

Site plan
Floor plan
Elevations
Section/Details
Door and window schedules
Outline bill of quantities
Schedule of works

Accompanying the construction information package, your employer wishes to understar your reasons for the drawings, specification and schedules that you have produced.
