Develop a state diagram for a sequential circuit that has two input terminals (W and X) and two output terminals (Y and Z). When three consequtive 1's are detected on W, Y will become 1. When 4 consequtive 1's are detected on W, Z will become 1. When three or more consecutive 1s are detected on X then both Y and Z will become 1s. For all other input combinations both Y and Z will be zeros. W and X will never receive 1s at the same time. Use state reduction where necessary to reduce.
Write a MATLAB program that will allow a user to type the specific heat of a value in calories per gram degree Celsius. Display the converted value in units of British thermal units per pound-mass degree Fahrenheit in the Command Window
Discuss why phasor analysis can only be performed on single-frequency circuits. For multiple frequencies what type of analysis must be performed
Use the fact that x = 2 and y = 0 at t = 0 to determine the appropriate value of the arbitrary constant in the solution set.
The core is made of cast steel. Find the MMF required to get an air gap flux of 60,000 lines. The cross sectional area of the center section and air gaps is 4 in^2. The remaining sections have a cross sectional of 6 in^2.
What is the effective data rate of this transfer (not counting the time for reading or writing the DVDs)?
1) What are some practical op-amp applications Can you give example and explain why the bop-amp was used in your example 2) What is the most common used op-amp in the industry
A charged particle starts from rest at the origin of coordinates in a region where there is a uniform electric field E parallel to the x-axis, and a uniform magnetic flux density B parallel to the z-axis. Show that the coordinates of the particle ..
Find the phasors corresponding to the following signals. (a) v(t) = 21 cos(4t-15o) V (b) i(t) =-8 sin(10t+70o) mA 2 (c) v(t) = 120 sin (10t -50o ) V (d) i(t) = -60cos(30t +10o) mA
What is the perceived colour if the energy of light is same corresponding to red green and blue, and zero at other frequencies what about red and green frequencies only
under insolation conditions 500 W/m^2 (direct sunlight), and 10% solar cell efficiency, calculate the area required for a photovoltaic array capable of running an electric vehicle driven by a single 40 hp motor for 3 hours at half power
Given the following function in product-of-sums form, not necessarily minimized, F(W,X,Y,Z) = (W + X' + Y')(W' + Z')(W + Y), Re-express the function in the canonical sum-of-products form. Use little m notation.
Two machines and a lighting load are connected in parallel to a 240 V(rms), 60 Hz line. The first machine uses 230 kW of power at 0.85 power factor lagging. The second machine uses 95 kVA at 0.882 power factor leading. The lightening load consumes..
