Assessment Task

A convincing and memorable group presentation to `senior management' of a company explaining how one of (or some of) the elements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution - such as artificial intelligence, augmented reality, big data, robotics, global warming, the circular economy, or China's belt and road ambitions - could be used to enhance their business.

Presentation to be conducted by all members of the CLN Purpose:

To provide an opportunity for the CLN to develop the skills needed to make convincing business presentations; and also to gain a career edge by investigating the challenges and opportunities that businesses will face in the near term future. Some independent group research will be needed to provide presentation content.

The activity is also aimed at developing individual insights through group processes and group presentation capabilities within a presentation time limit of 20 minutes maximum.

Task & Scope:

Develop a CLN presentation supported by power point and/or other professional audio visual approach.

References identified in power points or the selected presentation media are expected, along with a submission of a reference list of resources used in the presentation. Submission of a copy of power points or other related presentation outline to the facilitator is also expected.

Using materials researched by the CLN, develop a presentation which addresses the set topic.
