In this assignment, i will develop situational and behavioural-based interview questions for a job of your choosing.

Rationale

This assignment supports meeting the following course learning outcome:

3. Optimize recruitment and selection practices by combining technology, forecasting techniques, job analysis and job design to ensure validity and reliability.

Directions

  1. Research a job of interest to you. You can use any job board such as Indeed, consider researching a job that you are interested in.
  2. Copy and paste the job advertisement and cite its source with proper APA citation style. Refer t..A@Conestoga.
  3. Based on the job advertisement create two situational-based interview questions and two behavioural-based interview questions.

Requirements:

  • All four questions must directly relate to the selected advertised job.
  • Situational-based questions must met the basic criteria of "how the candidate would handle a certain situation".
  • Behaviourial-based questions must met the basic criteria of "candidate needs to recall past experiences to demonstrate knowledge".
