Paper Screening Tool and Screening Criteria
Develop a screening tool that can be used to rate the application materials received from applicants. Refer back to your job advertisement. Which criteria listed in the job ad can legitimately be assessed based on applicants' resumes and cover letters. Identify the criteria you will use for a paper screening, and how you will rate each criterion (yes/no, scale, number of years).
Deliverable -
construct a screening document with a list of around 3 criteria that will be used to develop a list of applicants who meet the minimum requirements. Be sure that each criterion is clear, the method of rating it is clear, and that you identify what the minimum standard is. Be sure that your criteria are supportable from a legal/human rights perspective.
Requirements:
1. Screening tool is well laid out and easy to use.
2. Screening criteria are appropriate, can be assessed based on application materials.
3. No arbitrary screening criteria included.
Rating system for each criterion is clear and appropriate.
