This deliverable seeks to evaluate your ability to develop project scope through the production of a work breakdown structure.

Instructions

Creating a Work Breakdown helps the project team accomplish the project objectives by outline the desired tasks and timeline for completion. Both the project team and senior management use the document to make sure that the project stays on track - within scope and within budget. This deliverable requires that you create a Work Breakdown Structure.

Download the WBS Template, the Project Budget and Resources, and the Company Details documents.

Identify and use specific details from the documents to establish and document each area of the WBS.

Each WBS should detail a specific work package supporting a specific project milestone.

Refer to the project outcomes, project milestones, and task/resource lists by project phase to assist in creating the WBS.

Each WBS work package should be developed to the second or third level.

All tasks and associated resources should be covered in the WBS document.

Start and end dates for each package should be specified, as well as total estimated days.
