2. Using the information you have been provided with, develop a report that addresses the following:
2.1. Usingthe termination and redundancy policies of Bounce Fitness, discuss whether these would meet the ‘best' practice for separation / termination requirements. Do these policies meet all legal requirements?
2.2As Centre Manager, one of your employees emails you on what could lead to them being instantly dismissed. Write a return email to the employee, ensuring that you make reference to both the Bounce Fitness policies and relevant legislation.
2.3 Outline a plan that you could put in place for dealing with staff who are retiring
2.4 Outline a procedure for reviewing and evaluating the plan you created in 2.3
2.5 How would you obtain feedback about the function of your policies and procedures for separation and termination from your managers and staff?

2.7 Bounce Fitness Personal Trainers are in the 25 to 30 year age group. On average, they are employed for two years. Review the employment policies and procedures of Bounce Fitness and using this, suggest a program that would be useful to ensure that there are few, if any, staffing issues.

• Design and produce the handouts and any other material that would be provided to those being made redundant

The candidate will demonstrate the skills and knowledge required to deliver a staff training session on their redundancy plan.
Assessment description
In this task, you are required to deliver staff training on your redundancy plan to your training group and assessor, who will act as other Bounce Fitness Centre Managers.
Procedure

2. Deliver your redundancy plan to your training group and assessor who will act as other Bounce Fitness Centre Managers. You must provide a copy of your handouts to reinforce your training to each member of the group and encourage them to discuss the plan with you. The assessor will be assessing your ability to communicate the procedure effectively, ability to influence others to participate in the training session and on your ability to consult, receive feedback and refine your plan.

Assessment 4
Performance objective
In this task, candidates demonstrate their ability to counsel employees in disciplinary procedures, provide advice on termination and conduct exit interviews, in line with organizational procedures.
Assessment description
In this task as a Bounce Fitness Centre Manager, you are required to counsel an errant staff member on one of the five scenarios provided by your assessor.

2. Your assessor will assign you with one of the following scenarios, and working with another Learner, you will deal with the situation in line with Bounce Fitness procedures. Your assessor will observe your skills during the 15-minute role-play.
Scenario 1
The Personal Trainer being interviewed has been caught stealing from the till.
Scenario 2
The Personal Trainer being interviewed is habitually late and has had three warnings.
Scenario 3
Clients have been complaining about the Personal Trainer being interviewed. They are perceived by clients as arrogant and dismissive. They have had three warning.
Scenario 4
Sadly, it has been decided that the Cairns Centre must close and the Centre staff must be managed.
Scenario 5
An employee relocating to a new city is leaving. Conduct the Exit Interview.
