Judgment and Decision Making
Assessment: Group Decision-making
Description:
For the assessment task, the student group will collaborate on a pre-agreed case study and devise effective decision-making strategies to tackle the identified issues. Their approach should encompass leadership, strategic thinking, innovation, and agility, utilising appropriate decision- making models that target specific aspects of the case study. The group should incorporate relevant theoretical frameworks that align with the organisation's values to strengthen their decision-making processes further.
Instructions:
Agree on one group member's case study or choose a new one.
Develop organisational decision-making approaches for the below list of methods:
Develop a group decision-making method to address one of the identified decision- making situations from the selected case study scenario. This approach should enhance the decision-making processes and cognitive metrics.
Devise a framework for leadership and strategic decision-making to address the case study, improve insights, and support decision-making.
Develop a framework for agile and innovative decision-making to achieve organizational objectives, expedite the process, and deliver new products of high quality.
Each team member can participate in each approach as a member of the team and share ideas.
Provide a justification for selecting each decision-making approach and explain how it addresses the respective decision-making situation.
Explain the reasons behind the inputs, assumptions, and limitations considered for each model used in decision-making.
Present the decision-making models in a clear and structured manner, supported by relevant evidence and references.
Ensure in-text referencing and formatting are IEEE style.
