Assume that you have been asked by the owner of your medium-sized import and export company (200+ people) to develop a more competitive total reward program for different jobs in the company. He says he is concerned that employees complain about being underpaid compared to the market. The CEO is concerned about employee retention and that his key employees will leave the company to the competition if he does nothing.

Outline the steps you will follow to develop a more competitive total reward program. Make sure to give a rationale for the type of job evaluation system and market survey method you propose.

The list of jobs the CEO is most concerned with includes the Vice President of Operations, the Marketing Insights Manager, the Trade Compliance Officer, and the Export Sales Manager.
