Learning outcome 1: Develop international management competencies required to operate in multicultural environment and diverse community by Illustrating examples of contrasting cultural approaches in management and the general economic and business environment.
Learning outcome 2: Apply concepts of management practices, teamwork and individual behaviour to the analysis of global business case studies in an intercultural workplace by combining contemporary theories with real-world applications.
Learning outcome 3: Develop international management competencies required to operate in multicultural environment and diverse community by analysing specific global business situations in order to identify areas of good practice and use solutions that are more creative.
Task 1: Produce an individual report of 1500 words reflecting on your own experience working in a global diverse team during this term, your reflection should include the following points:
1. Your role as a team member of globally diverse team and your contribution to your team both in your mid-term project and weekly class activities
2. Conflicts and cultural differences among your team members and how you overcame these
3. Your leadership experience of your team throughout the term, and its effectiveness
4. Belbin roles you observed in your team members
5. Your areas of strengths as a team worker and areas that need development in the future
Your research
• Make sure you cite and reference all your sources of research using the Harvard referencing system
• Use at least 5 different sources of information in your research(credible websites, journals, books, peer-reviewed academic papers)
• You should be using sources from your textbook and the e-library and/or other relevant information sources such as the module resource list where you will find various articles and books in your recommended reading list
