PURPOSE OF ASSIGNMENT
A personal leadership plan outlines your leadership goals, current skills, and strategies to support your continuous leadership development and achievement of your goals. Think of it as a roadmap that shares where you are now and where you want to go in terms of your leadership.

The plan is intended as a "living" document, which means it will change as you grow and develop in your career and leadership journey. We encourage you to update your plan each year, as it will serve as a marker of your accomplishments and achievements and also be a motivator for what you expect to accomplish in the future.

Your plan should be used to help you achieve professional and/or personal growth, and not just used as lip service (what you think someone else wants to hear); a personal leadership plan is meant for you! Be honest in your plan. You can write about your goals to manage other people, manage resources, or manage yourself. This paper is intended to culminate your thoughts from your weekly journals, assignments, discussions, synchronous sessions, and coaching sessions, to pull together what you have learned from all facets of our learning exercises.
