The scenario: In this scenario you are the instructional designer and trainer. Due to a sudden increase in training projects your department is short of trainers. Your manager has assigned you with the task of developing and delivering a 1-day Train-the-Trainer program to teach 15 subject matter experts how to use a trainer’s manual, and to develop effective presentation/delivery skills. To ensure that the training has been effective and that there was a transfer of learning, you will want to/need to develop some evaluation tools to collect some evaluation data to be able to measure and report the success of the project, the effectiveness of the training, and the level of learning.
