Lead corporate social responsibility
Purpose of assessment
This assessment will develop your skills and knowledge required to consult with stakeholders to develop, implement and evaluate corporate social responsibility policy in an organisation.

Evidence of the ability to:
Establish, monitor and evaluate corporate social responsibility for two areas or opportunities
In the course of the above, the candidate must:
consult and communicate with relevant stakeholders to develop CSR objectives and policy that align to organisational goals
negotiate with stakeholders to integrate corporate social responsibility practices into policies and procedures.

Task A - Knowledge Questions

Task B - Identify context for corporate social responsibility
Question B1
Produce a report that outlines the context for Tight Threads' corporate social responsibility. Ensure the report outlines:
The environment and enterprise context for CSR, including which areas of CSR are relevant to the company's goals and why
The quality and quantity of drivers for CSR
Outline key provisions of legislation, regulation, standards and codes of practice that impacts on corporate social responsibility, including those relating to:
Fair trade
Human rights
Corporate governance
Current and expected benefits to company from implementing CSR
Stakeholders relevant to CSR, and effective forms of engagement for each group
Question B2
To further understand the context for CSR for Tight Threads, you need to consult with others on potential opportunities and barriers.
Set up a meeting with at least two stakeholders of Tight Threads, as role played by other students in your unit. Use the meeting to:
Identify opportunities for socially responsible practices
Identify potential barriers to socially responsible practices and discuss how they could be addressed
After the meeting record notes on what was discussed, including the opportunities and potential barriers identified.

Task C - Engage stakeholders and implement CSR policy
5A. Instructions
Assessment Task C requires the Candidate to develop policy objectives, and strategies to support implementing CSR for Tight Threads.
Question C1
Now you have to develop CSR policy, objectives and implementation strategies, you need to consult with others.
Set up a meeting with at least two stakeholders.
Use the meeting to:
Emphasise the benefits of CSR
Identify and discuss potential CSR objectives
Discuss inclusions for Tight Threads' CSR policy
Negotiate needed changes to procedures, systems and processes to integrate CSR
After the meeting, record notes of what was discussed, including the feedback received.

Task D - Monitor and evaluate CSR policy
6A. Instructions
Assessment Task D requires the Candidate to regularly monitor and evaluate the outcomes of their CSR policy.
Question D1
It's now been 3 months since you implemented the CSR Policy.
Review the 3-month implementation results provided in the case study. Then use a root-cause analysis to make at least two recommendations for improving Tight Threads' policies and practices.

Review the 6-month implementation results provided in the case study. Then using the headings provided, document an evaluation of:
