Research, individually: what are the most commonly used recruitment and selection methods in your country of origin?
List a short summary of 5 bullet points, share with the class, and compare with the notes of your colleagues = critical discussion (similarities/ differences?)
Questions to consider:
What are the common recruitment methods? Are they sector specific?
What are the common selection methods? How are these conducted? Are they objective/ subjective?
Any similarities and differences of these methods in different cultural contexts? If so, why?
Can you associate the UN SDGs with recruitment and/ or selection practices?
