TASK

In this assessment, you will review your case study business and conduct research in orer to and describe a project that would require the development and performance managemendt of aidentify contract. You will then develop a contract for the project and develop a performance management strategy.

Complete the following tasks:

1. Analyse your case study business and identify a project that would require a contract and ongoing contract/performance management. Write a brief summary of the project and its relevance to the organisation. Include a list of stakeholders and identify a project sponsor.

2. Develop a set of specifications for the project.

3. Identify the appropriate person to sign-off on the project specifications and submit your specifications to them for feedback and sign-off. Submit a summary of the feedback and sign- off process.

4. Develop a framework for one of the project contracts. What are the objectives of the contract? Who are the stakeholders? Define the contract boundaries. How will the contract be implemented and managed? What measurement tools will be used to monitor performance? What will the reporting schedule be?

5. Develop a draft contract that complies with your case study Organization guideline. Develop a feedback tool and circulate the draft for feedback utilizing the tool (your assessor may role-play the role of the client for the purposes of this task) Compile, analyze and report on the feedback and arrange a meeting to clarify any problems and misunderstandings.

Develop a report on the feedback process including a critical analysis of your role - what went well? What would you do differently next time?

6. Develop a strategy for the implementation and monitoring of performance against contractual obligations. What will be measured? How will it be measured'? How will the findings be reported? How will client satisfaction be determined? What actions will be taken to identify and address unsatisfactory performance? What process will be used to initiate/respond to contract variations?
