Question 1: Develop complete marketing plan that is specifically designed to attract customers or patrons to one of the local bars or restaurants. This would require meeting with members of management in order to develop the plan.
Question 2: Choose a services-oriented business and develop a marketing plan that is designed to improve the organization's ability to be competitive. In addition to doing an analysis of the target market(s), all aspects of the marketing mix as well should be planned.
Question 3: Choose a local service business and conduct a market research study. Develop questions for management that deal with determining the business's intended target market. Management should also be questioned as to general impressions concerning customer desires with regard to products being marketed. After management opinion has been determined, a consumer survey should be conducted to determine who the actual customer is... and what their desires and preferences actually are... A comparison should then be made between management and consumer results.
Question 4: Develop a customer (student) satisfaction evaluation of the Smeal Advising Center (202 Business Building). Use the 5 service quality criteria (discussed in class) as the basis of your assessment. Do the appropriate type of research necessary to determine the level of satisfaction or dissatisfaction concerning this service... and make appropriate recommendations as to how to improve the service.
Question 5: In the wake of the current coronavirus pandemic, many service dominant products have been adversely effected. Choose a product and even a specific service marketing firm and discuss all of the ramifications to their situation. Discuss the various marketing alternatives that may help them to survive their present situation. As a marketer, offer (and justify) various strategies that will help them successfully grow in the future. You need to have a specific company in mind when doing this alternative.
