Develop a basic simulation plan for the proposed project. This is not intended to be a generic discussion of simulation and potential benefits, but rather, an analysis of how specifically you might use monte-carlo or discrete-event simulation tools for this project. This plan should include the following sections: Required Simulation Input Data (think process times, probabilistic decisions, etc.) for various components/processes in your simulation. Design of Experiments (DOE) for all 'what-if' options (high-cost, medium-cost, low-cost). This is a table that illustrates all of the different simulation scenarios that you are planning to execute. Proposed Results and Metrics (how will you measure your results and what figures are presented to management?). In other words, how are you going to judge which "what if" scenario is the best?
