Assignment:

ABC Project Management is a fictional leading international project management firm based in the Republic of Cyprus with an annual turnover of 1 billion United States dollars. ABC plans on responding to a request for proposals (RFP) issued by the government of a developing nation.

Given the economic slowdown caused by COVID-19 this project is considered as key in ABC re-establishing its position as a global leader in project management services. The projects are located in the central part of the country and have a completion horizon of three years. They are:

a). an international airport serving 10 million passengers annually,

b). a telecommunications network serving 1 million people, and

c). and three bridges of 200, 300, and 400 meters in length respectively, over a river.

Your responsibility as ABCs Vice President of Business Development is to produce a Business Case for the RFP.

For the purposes of this assignment you need to successfully complete the following tasks:

Task 1: Craft a strategy for the portfolio of projects included in the RFP.

Task 2: Develop a detailed budget with the intention of taking advantage of the business opportunity that the RFP presents

Task 3: Identify the project stakeholders and risks and develop appropriate stakeholder and a risk management plans.

Also, your business case should be practical not decriptive, written in the third person, extensively cited Harvard style, contain different practical/analysed evidences (PM tools, tables, strategies, images, statistcs etc ) and real examples shown, extensively research and present the following (additional to your own research)

1. Executive summary

2. Project objectives and key project deliverables.

3. Project plan

4. Project scope

5. Project stakeholders

6. Project milestones roadmap (Project Libre software=Gantt-chart)

7. Project risk management plan (Register etc)

8. Budget

9. SWOT

10. Competitor analysis (with real companies or projects)

11. Change management process

Outline how to turn this business case into an actionable project including

· A RACI chart to outline project responsibilities.

· Project stakeholder project communication plan,

· Communicate project status updates.

· What is the next course of action? When the management team ratifies this business case, what next steps should.
