Discuss the top five guidelines below that would help develop and implement a Level 2 assessment.

Top 5 Guidelines:

1. Measure the learning of each participant. Don't allow executives or top performers to be the exception. If they are in the target audience, they must fulfill all requirements. Even if an executive is just sitting in on a program, she needs to complete the assessment as a model to others

2. If possible, compare performance results to a control group (people who did not attend the training). This approach can be used to isolate the training content most relevant to the target audience.

3. Use a variety of assessment methods, not just knowledge tests. The type of test and format should align with the delivery format, whether the program is face-to-face, blended, online, or a virtual classroom.

4.Conduct an item analysis to ensure that you have good test questions.

5.Provide feedback to the participants as soon as possible. Providing tests in an electronic format can allow for almost immediate grading and feedback.
