Description: Develop and analyse a conceptual model based on the available variables in ESS.
Task: Develop a conceptual model, choose the relevant variables based on your conceptual model and utilise various analytics toolsand techniques (univariate, bivariate and multivariate) to provide insights about the data.
Guidance Notes:
The purpose of this assignment is to equip you with the ability to selectively analyse different sets of data for insight, and to report the findings in effective manner. This assignment consists of five tasks, but the report should flow as a single whole document.
(1) Provide an overview of the research topic
(2) Develop the conceptual model and generate hypotheses. You can refer to relevant theory and literaturewithin this subtask
(3) Discuss your selected data/variables from ESS
(4) Analyse the data using appropriate data analysis tools:
Univariate analysis-Descriptive statistics, graphics and arithmetic measures
Bivariate analysis-Correlation, Anova, t-test
Multivariate analysis
(5) Describe if the findings are consistent with the conceptual model
