Select one of the two real case studies analysed in Assessments 1 and 2, do further research
Analyse your selected organisation in terms of its emerging challenges (including ethical considerations) and develop strategies and initiatives recommending:
a. future design and/or structure,
b. future people management,
c. future marketing management and
d. future financial management practices
In identifying emerging challenges, consider major factors impacting the organisation's external and internal environment and how these might translate into specific challenges
Synthesise your analysis to demonstrate how each aspect of your analysis interacts and what their impacts are on each other
Present your group findings in a written report (2,000 words).

The group research report is intended as a vehicle for students to demonstrate their capacity to integrate and utilise
the learning of the subject to better appreciate and understand the functioning of contemporary organisations.

The group research report is designed to assist students to utilise and synthesise their learning in the subject so as to meet all of the subject learning outcomes:
1. Describe contemporary organisational structures.
2. Explain contemporary people management practices.
3. Outline marketing practices.
4. Explain financial practices.
5. Develop an integrated analysis of a contemporary organisation.
Students in groups of 3, 4, or 5 (depending on class size) will
- Select one out of the two real case studies analysed in Assessments 1 and 2, and do further research
- Analyse the selected organisation in terms of its emerging challenges (including ethical considerations) and develop strategies and initiatives recommending:
a. future design and/or structure,
b. future people management,
c. future marketing management and
d. future financial management practices

- Synthesise their analysis to demonstrate how the impact of each aspect interacts with the other
- Present the collective group findings in a written report (2,000 words)
- Use relevant management and organisational theory from the Learning material to support your narrative.
- It is the responsibility of group members to decide on roles, meeting schedules and all activities necessary to
developing the report
- Each student's contribution to this assessment task will be peer moderated (see marking criteria and standards rubric). The peer moderation is to be emailed to the teaching academic before submission deadline. The system for peer moderation will be explained in the preceding weeks. The form for peer moderation is available in vUWS
- Students will be individually marked on Marking criteria 7 and 8 based on evaluations by their peers
- A penalty of 10% per day shall apply to late submissions
- The document with cover sheet should be uploaded into Turnitin before submission is due
- Make sure that all group members' names are documented on the cover sheet and the assessment document
