Innovation Management Plan

In this assessment you will develop an innovation management plan on a specific organization pitch around it.

Instructions:

1. Choose an organisation (this must be a different organisation from the one you researched in your group assignment)

2. Research the hot topics about innovation related to this organisation

3. Then develop an innovation management action plan based on the criteria below.

4. Assuming you have the opportunity to make an elevator pitch to the CEO of this company, what would you say? Make a short pitch directed at the CEO that references your report.

This assignment consists of Part A (2000 Word Written Report) and Part B (3 minute video) pitch. BOTH parts must be submitted in order for the assignment to be considered complete. If one part is NOT submitted, the assignment is considered incomplete and will not be marked.

Part A: Innovation Plan (35% total grade for subject)

Your plan must include the following components

- Discuss 3 hot topics about innovation related to your organisation
- Develop an idea for an innovative product or service based on the goals and portfolio management for the organisation
- Discuss how your innovation will be streamlined with the organations current capabilities

- Design thinking about your innovation include a diagram depicting the innovation

- Fast integration- time, costs, resources
- Prototyping and testing capabilities
- Cross functional management
• Conclusion
- Discuss future innovations that might affect your innovative idea
• References
- At least 10 needed with the majority being from 201 4
- Academy of Management Style format
- Must include a range of references- books, articles, websites
• Appendix
