You have been told at the weekly nurse manager meeting that all units need to develop a cost-containment plan. You begin your planning by reviewing the content in this chapter. You might do some additional literature research on cost-containment. Then you develop two strategies in ascribe them in a memo to the CNO. You then need to develop an implementation plan and consider how you will inform and involve the staff. (Finkelman, 2020). Include the memo, how will you implement the cost-containment plan and how will you know if the strategies have been effective.
