Imagine that today is the greatest day of your life - the day you and your partner give birth to your first child. Naturally, your attention will turn to the world they will inherit and what their quality of life might be.

1. If current trends continue, what do you believe will be the state of the planet when your child reaches the age of 50 and why?

2. Assuming you are at least somewhat concerned regarding the previous question, what are some important and specific changes that you think need to occur in business, government, and society to ensure the world is flourishing 50 years from now?

3. Finally, what could you commit to doing personally to make a difference, however small, to help make the world more sustainable?
