Scenario 

Delegating duties is one strategy Jean is keen to put in place. At this stage however, she doesn't have to documented systems in place for her team to follow. It seems the staff 'learn' what to do from other staff and have no structured means to reference what to do - other than ask Jean.

Jean has identified that the front office staff are taking far too much of her time. One of the issues that continues to plague her is clients not receiving the service they have asked for. In order to delegate the sales process to the team she must provide a work systems structure for the team to work with.

Task

Start by writing a sales procedure designed to improve accuracy that the team must follow.

Develop a training plan to implement the new sales procedure

Develop a mechanism for the customers to provide feedback. The feedback should focus on staff performance and may be used as part of a continuous improvement and quality approach.
