Increasing violence, fight, aggression in movies has always being a problem in the entertainment industry. Kids movies are receding and most of movies which are serves to the society of are ill natured which promoted vulgarity, violence and vacuum. Due to availability of such movie even on the fingers tips of the society because of OTT (Over the Top) platform the situation is worse, as no control can be exercise and we are exposing adolescents to lot of information, exposures which is affecting the behavior in some other direction. There are becoming less tolerant and believes the real life as what is it shown on the screen. In this article we would like to focus on exposure in adolescents about the smoking. Off late the smoking cigarette which was banned to be showcased in movie or if it was a part of the movie it need to blurred with warning displayed has been considered as a formality. Most of the content now on OTT was exhibiting the smoking as free rein. Smoking cigarette appear to be a part of almost ¼ of the movies. Such scenes in the movies triggers the intention of adolescents to start smoking. The situation became worse when adolescents see their favorite stars smoking cigarettes which creates more positive attitude towards smoking. Even recent researchers have proved that seeing the favorite star smoking on screen prompts adolescents to start smoking and ape them likewise, which is somehow related to their attitude to smoking. This completely synced with the social and behavioral theory which inferred that attitude and behaviors are modeled by observing, following and imbibing the behaviors of other.
