While out on medical leave, her medical insurance is in danger of being cancelled because she could no longer make payments for it because of her illness. Historically, this employee had a tendency to bad-mouth the CEO of the company. Upon learning of this employee's insurance predicament, the CEO decided to continue paying for the employee's health insurance until she passed. Was the CEO ethically correct in paying for the medical insurance despite the fact that the CEO knew this employee disliked the CEO?
