Peer Coaching
Review your partner's materials from the IES. This includes a) Her pre-survey reflection b) her autobiographical reflection; c) her survey results; d) her survey self-reflection report.(( You will find them in the attachments))
Based on these materials, which ‘type' of intercultural person does your partner seem to be? (E.g., globalist, individualist, etc.). Sometimes it is possible to match the scores, as they graph onto the triangle on page 9 of the report directly with a certain type. But, after reading your partner's strengths and needs more specifically, do they seem to fit with that type? Explain what ‘type' they seem to best fit and why. Then, based on your own experiences and what is recommended in the IES report, comment on the following:
• what would you see as this person's main strengths? After reading in detail about these strengths, how should this person leverage their strengths when working in intercultural situations?
• What does he or she need to work on that would be of most help in an intercultural situation? How can he or she compensate for these areas?
• Develop a suggested personal development plan for the individual: Suggest at least 2 additional tactics that they could engage in to reach their goals for growth.
