Also referred to as RWC, this public company designs, manufactures and supplies a range of water flow and control products in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the United States, Spain, France, Italy, India, and the United Kingdom. From a small privately-owned manufacturing company established in Brisbane in 1949, the company expanded to list on the Australian Stock Exchange in 2016 (ASX:RWC). Your task is to develop a strategic plan to support RWC's ambitions to continue its international expansion.

This is a group assignment that accounts for 60% of your final grade for this unit. It comprises a strategic plan, recorded group presentation, and an opportunity to note individual contribution. Assessment weightings follow:
Assessment 2(A): A 2500-word strategic plan (written in business report format) uploaded through Turnitin in Moodle (40%)
Assessment 2(B): Presentation (15 minutes maximum) PPT recorded and uploaded to Turnitin (Group presentation 15%)
Assessment 2(C): Self- and Peer-review of contribution to the group and presentation (5%)
In Assessment 2(A), each group is required to write a 2500-word strategic plan critically applying contemporary concepts, theories, and models.
As a group, you need to use your knowledge and understanding from the material covered to develop a strategic plan to support RWC's ambitions to continue its international expansion. In order to demonstrate your ability to conceptualise key strategy and change management concepts and theories, you should also read beyond the materials provided in the eReading list. At a minimum, the group is required to use at least 10 peer-reviewed academic papers to support the analysis detailed in your strategic plan. Please be sure to follow business report format and use the APA (7th edition) referencing style.
