Assignment: Need to develop a Software Program to auto control the Traffic light timingpreferably using Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology:

Description of the Assignment:

In a typical 4-way intersection, there are 4 lights which work based on the preset timing. However, we need to develop a traffic light system which will automatically adjust the duration of Red and Green lights timing based on the volume of traffic.

Let's assume we want to auto adjust the green/red light timing 10 secs for every 10% difference of the percentage. From above example, it would need to add additional 25 secs to the green light duration for East-West bound traffic.
Above process should continue round the clock. No adjustment is necessary if the % difference is less than 10%.

Requirement (must meet):
Software code can be written in any computer programming languagepreferably utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology.
Software should allow to adjust the greenlight timing for demonstration purposes by clicking a button or from some other way without modifying the actual code (refer to the Figure 2 below).
Software should allow to adjust the no. of North-South and East-West bound vehicles for demonstration purposes by clicking a button or from some other way without modifying the actual code (refer to the Figure 2 below).
Software package should include everything (all necessary software, tools, and any licensing) which are required to install in order to execute/run the software from my own computer.
There should be absolutely no plagiarism and I will need to have the complete software code and ownershiprights of the software package developed here.
Developer should provide a brief or high-level description of the software code indicating which part is performing which function.
Software code must be delivered as fully functional software - incomplete or partial product will not be acceptable.
