Develop a short-term media relations strategy . You will think critically and strategically about the best communication methods to use for a short-term media relations plan for a specific event for a local (to you or to the location of your campus) organization or company that you will create from your imagination. Your Company is a Cafe named coffee culture. Use your imagination! Instructions:  Your Media Strategy assignment must include the following: 

  1.  An Introduction of  describing the purpose of your business/organization - what service(s) and/or product(s) do you provide?  What is your long-term goal? Include your company's mission statement. Also include a brief history of the company (why you created it, how long you've been running it, number of staff/volunteers, any other details you deem important to understanding the nature of your imagined company). Also briefly describe the event that your Plan is for.
  2. However you decide to build your plan, it must include the following components:  goal(s), objectives, target audience(s), media, key message(s) and methods of evaluation.

*Remember to stay focused on the specific event that your Plan is being created for. This is not a long-term business plan.

3.Separately, list the contact info of any media outlets you identified in your plan.  A conscientious media relations practitioner will have this information attached to the plan for easy access by other team members.
