Question: Develop a Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement Plan. The development of the QA&CIP may reflect elements of reality, that is to say, modified from current worksite or would like to use in the future.

Use the Health Resources and Services Administration publication, Developing and Implementing a Quality Improvement Plan (HRSA, 2011), as the basis for the assignment.

The plan must have all of the features contained in the Developing and Implementing a Quality Improvement Plan (HRSA, 2011), PDF document, Parts 1-3.

Build an implementation component into the plan through the use of the information contained in Part 1, Page 3 of the HRSA document.
Describe the difference between a QI Plan and a QI Project.

Use the fall with injury sentinel event, adverse outcome, or "never event" to be the topic of the QI Project.
Follow the selection through to implementation using the PDCA FOCUS model to illustrate how and why the prescribed plan of action was successful.
