Question: Task 1: The first task is to provide research and information for the CEO and the top management team (TMT) to structure the new Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) position in the framework of the leadership structure.
Develop a 1 - 2-page internal memo outlining (1) the roles and responsibilities of the CHRO as a member of the top management team in addressing strategic priorities and (2) the CHRO role in addressing the 3 key issues (outlined above). This memo is intended to be sent to employees to describe the change in the TMT and how that change reflects a deeper valuing of human resource development and talent management in the leadership team.
Task 2: The new CEO has been an active member of the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council. In the meeting with you, the CEO shared that many other members were sharing their difficulties in recruiting skilled talent. He wants a presentation prepared to brief the TMT on the environment for recruiting, engaging and retaining the workforce for the company.
Develop a 2-page set of notes that is an informal outline for the presentation to be developed in task3. The note and presentation will focus on your analysis of the top 4-5environmental(PESTEL) and workforce issues impacting the company and its strategic plan implementation.
Task 3: Based upon the research and development that you have done in Tasks 1 and 2, you are now ready to present your finding and recommendations to the CEO and TMT.
Develop a narrated Kaltura video presentation that identifies and explains the importance of the critical points that emerged from Tasks 1 and 2 (above).
