Assignment - Develop a multi-level anti-AIDS educational program targeted at one specific demographic group.

Format for Proposal - Organization of the proposal

I. Introduction, describing the problem, the major issues and how you intend to approach them. ('about 1/2 page, single spaced, 1 page maximum). The intro leads to the specific aims of the project.

II. Specific Aims: Describe each of your 4 principles as a specific aim or goal. List the four principles that you want to address, with about one sentence to concisely describe the goal. (1-2 sentences per aim)

III. Plan: Write up each aim in a separate paragraph, maybe 1/2 page for each. For each aim, dedicate one or two sentences to describe your goal and how you would approach it. You should try to be specific about what activity you will use to achieve that goal. What setting (i.e., after school program every week for how many sessions, online program etc. ). Describe exactly what activities you would do within each aim. It doesn't have to be too extensive.

1. Write a paragraph as described above saying how you will approach the goal in Aim 1.

2. Same for Aim 2.

3. Same for Aim 3.

4. Same for Aim 4.

IV. How you will assess the program, i.e., questionnaire, follow up?

Other considerations:

1. Length: There is no specific page requirement, but keep it concise. You should use as few or as many words ask you need to describe your ideas, but stay focused.

Remember, people are going to be reading a lot of proposals, so you should not make it too long. Use a font that is comfortable for people to read.

2. Be sure to say how you will set up the program. Examples:

• Will it be broken into multiple class periods? If so, tell us how many sessions, how many minutes each, how many sessions for each of the aims.
• If it is an online program, be as specific as you can about how and where it will be posted. Where will you find your target audience? What type of social media will you place it in?
