Assume you're working in the IT Department of Amazon Canada's corporate head office in Toronto. There are too many issues with dispatching and managing the package delivery staff -- too many packages getting lost (higher than the allowed margin of error), delivered late, and staff cannot be properly tracked during their working hours, which causes communication issues. Delivery staff complain that they're not getting communications from their managers on time, or messages are getting lost.
You are asked to manage the project to improve the delivery staff operations. Develop a Gantt chart in MS Project for this project - tasks with durations, start/finish dates, organized into deliverables and linked as appropriate with predecessors, with 5 milestones in the proper format, hourly costs set up for each resource, and work hours set up, as well as the cost column populated. Assume 4-5 resources, duration of about 3 months, and cost of $300,000-$500,000.
